Dear my friends, I have decided to write my posts in english. It is a good way to practice writing. I wont take to much care about complete correctness. Time is money! I will just write making progress during that process...

Gallery tour in Chelsea
I arrived with the bus at 6 pm in Chelsea and I met with Alex there visiting some galleries there. Around 9th and 10th avenue, 22nd street there five blocks of galleries with open doors every thursday from 6-8 pm provinding free drinks (whine, beer, sometimes even cocktails) and also food. I felt somewhat displaced with my huge bagpack and my tank top among all these serious dressed older and hip young people of the art scene. But who cares? I felt that this whole event is generally more about conversation and contacting, to see and to be seen in a nice, atmospheric context. Indeed, the art was not greatly exciting. But it felt great to plunge in the metropolitan diversity and colorfulness, to chill out in front of the galleries meeting new, interesting people.
I recommend for weekendtrips to go to New York on thursday undergoing the bar openings; great startup of the weekend! :)
